Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for a 13 or 26 week full-time day shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and orders.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN required in state of practice.
• CPR/BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing process and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code activities.
• Educate patients and families on care and post-discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control and monitor medical equipment.
