Job summary

WSS is seeking seasonal Service Team Members in California to deliver friendly customer service, assist with sales, and help maintain store operations during peak periods.

You will greet customers, provide product details, stock shelves, process transactions, receive shipments, and follow schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support back-to-school sales and our busy season.

Overview:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team for a seasonal opportunity running from early June through the Back to School season. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the reliability of store operations during our peak seasons. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a retail environment while contributing to the success of our team during busy periods.

Job Description:

• Greet and help customers politely.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant movement, talking, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two hours.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb ladders.
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Stand or walk for at least 8 hours daily.
• Ability to climb step stools or ladders.

Requirements

Your individual responsibilities as a Service Team Member will include demonstrating excellent service, assisting customers on the sales floor, and performing cashier functions. In addition, you will be responsible for keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, accurately signing promotions, organizing the selling floor and backroom areas.
