Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Middletown, RI is seeking a Seasonal Retail Team Member for a part-time role. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties, while supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Cross-training in Custom Framing is available, with emphasis on safety and store recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive, respectful demeanor
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
