Job summary

Lindt USA is seeking a Chocolate Advisor to join our in-store team. You will create a premium customer experience at Lindt Chocolate Shops across the U.S., combining product knowledge with engaging service.

The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with compensation in the range of $15.00–$16.00 per hour. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities to grow within the Lindt brand.

Responsibilities

• Sales: contribute to store's weekly, monthly and annual sales with high levels of customer service and product knowledge.
• Demonstrate commitment to the store's sales mission daily, weekly and monthly.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals such as ADS, conversion and other KPIs.
• Model Lindt standards through dress code, up-selling and sales focus.
• Promote current marketing programs and utilize resources to optimize selling activity.
• Monitor and report customer or product issues to management in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain operational standards and controls within the store.
• Handle cash management, POS, paperwork and vendor logs; restock shelves and monitor dates and pricing.
• Keep store clean and comply with QA policies.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Sales Consistently contribute to the store's ability to achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, annual sales plan by providing the highest levels of customer service, demonstrated product knowledge and Lindt specific selling skills.
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the store's sales mission on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals such as ADS, conversion and other key performance indicators.
• Model Lindt standards through everyday activities such as Dress code, up-selling and sales focus.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to achieving store's targets by consistently promoting current marketing programs and utilizing company provided resources intended to optimise selling activity.
• Monitor and escape customer or product issues to management in a timely and professional manner.
• Operational Controls As part of the store's team, take ownership and actively participate in ensuring operational standards and controls are consistently adhered to.
• Cash Management (POS, Paperwork, Vendor Logs, Policies & Procedures) Take initiative to re-stock shelves as needed, monitoring date codes and pricing Perform store maintenance & cleaning as directed.
• Maintain store cleanliness Comply with all Quality Assurance policies & procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Skills & Knowledge: Ability to interact positively with customers Basic math and/or accounting skills Ability to take direction and execute work effectively

Experience: Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach with arms

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent

Other Requirements: Must be available to work nights, weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and Holidays

Total Rewards

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 /hour Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The company will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas. Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
