Job summary

Michaels Stores in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Retail or customer service experience is preferred, and flexible hours including nights and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them as applicable.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
