Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a versatile Nordstrom Rack team member to support sales, customer service, stock and fulfillment. You will help customers, operate POS systems, and keep floors tidy and well-merchandised. Flexibility to work across departments and maintain stockrooms is expected.

Flexibility is key, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store tomaintainthe cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms and help customers find great deals.

We have roles available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

A day in the lifeforSales andCustomer Service …

• Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays "runway ready", and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day

• Assistcustomers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online and mobile), which includesoperatinga point-of-sale system, bagging items of all size, handling bulky sometimes heavy items including boxes, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience

• Create a smooth fitting room experience when supporting as a fitting room attendant by greeting andassistingcustomers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor

• Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor

• Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed

• Demonstrateexpertisein all technologies used in the store environment

• Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards

• Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program

A day in a life for Stock Support and Fulfillment…

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments

• Fulfill customer ordersin a timely mannerfollowing quality standards

• Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality,packingand shipping standards

• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipmentsin accordance withour inventory control processes

• Assistinmaintainingclean and organized selling floors and stockrooms

• Providegeneral supportto the store,e.g.set upspecial events, organize backroom, markdowns, andrelocatestore fixtures

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting,flexingand reachingin order tohandle merchandise andassistcustomers.

• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling

• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.

• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

• Stock and Fulfillment Only:Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$22.55 - $23.45 Hourly
