Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store team member for our Palmdale, CA location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, pricing, and maintaining an inviting, in-stock store environment. The role involves omni-channel support (BOPIS/SFS), store recovery, and promoting the Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Public retail store setting experience and ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and handle physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Educate customers on rewards program and private label credit cards; enroll them.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to stay in stock.
