Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates to join during the busy holiday season (October through January). You’ll deliver outstanding customer service, keep merchandise organized, and ensure the sales floor stays stocked while greeting shoppers at the register.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or learning technology such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Basic information-gathering to solve problems.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct them to merchandise, and offer recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
