Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague in California to deliver exceptional customer experiences during peak shopping periods. You will blend friendly hospitality with product knowledge to connect customers with the right items and services on the sales floor or in fitting rooms.

You will work 10–20 hours per week, supporting customers, maintaining a clean and inviting space, and contributing to achieving store sales goals.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Willingness to meet daily sales goals and provide friendly customer service.
• Comfortable using technology and handheld devices in store.
• Team oriented and eager to help the store run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage to drive sales and loyalty.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
• Review sales goals and stay informed on promotions and new arrivals.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing updates, and product placement.
• End interactions by thanking customers and highlighting Loyalty program.
