Job summary

Kohl's is seeking an associate to deliver friendly, fast service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will engage customers, operate the register, and help ensure a compelling shopping experience while maintaining operational efficiency.

You may contribute to training, support inventory, and participate in daily service routines across shifts, including weekends and holidays. 16+ age required, no prior retail experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking with attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, offer assistance with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and process payments.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service following company guidelines.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl's brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishment.
