What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this means:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate includes roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, and CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All employees support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service through greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role, including assembling merchandise, stocking, loading, assisting shoppers, and processing sales and returns. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles depending on store needs.

Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Scheduled 10 to 40 hours, with potential for more based on store needs.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week. Receiver/Stocker roles require late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance (over 25 pounds with assistance, except CSA Front End).
• Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance (over 10 pounds with assistance, only for CSA Front End).

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience using a computer and a handheld device to input and access information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience involving customer interaction, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

If required by local or state law, you must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
