Kohl's in Old Saybrook, CT is hiring an Associate to deliver friendly customer service at the point of sale and support store operations. You'll greet customers, process transactions, and ensure swift service while maintaining accuracy and brand standards.

Ideal candidates are 16+ and flexible across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail experience isn't required, as training will cover POS procedures and customer service best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services; operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Accurately and efficiently execute POS and customer service standards per company guidelines; provide courteous, fast service.
• Meet or exceed goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes, POS procedures, and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing, changes, and replenishment.
• Uphold integrity, teamwork, and customer-focused culture across all associates.

What You’ll Do

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment
• Accurately and efficiently execute point of sale and customer service standards based on company guidelines providing courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty)
• Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
• Support the training process for new hires on the service team, including teaching process best practices, proper point of sale procedures, using available tools and resources while meeting Kohl’s brand standards
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies)

Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.00
