Job summary

Kohl's in Hooksett, NH is hiring an entry-level Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and in customer service processes, with a focus on fast, accurate transactions, friendly interactions and consistent execution.

You will greet customers, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, handle different payment methods and support inventory and service tasks. Must be available days, nights, weekends and holidays; starting pay is $13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products/services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute POS and customer service standards with courtesy, speed and efficiency.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition.
• Assist training of new service team hires and teach POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishing supplies.

What You’ll Do

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment
• Accurately and efficiently execute point of sale and customer service standards based on company guidelines providing courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty)
• Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
• Support the training process for new hires on the service team, including teaching process best practices, proper point of sale procedures, using available tools and resources while meeting Kohl’s brand standards
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies)
