Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Logistics Processor to support store operations by fulfilling customer orders, packing and shipping items, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

This role requires independence, motivation, and attention to quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment. You will use inventory management systems, assist with stockroom organization, and help with events and backroom setup.

A day in a Life… Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures

You own this if you have… A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative Had success working in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ability to prioritize multiple tasks Organizational skills and attention to detail The skills to use of a variety of technology and new computer applications The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs ‘Standard’ Physical Requirements – Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only]

Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $18.85 - $19.65 Hourly At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%
