Qualifications

• Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Previous retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate, work as a team, and be adaptable in the workplace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of products, activities, community relevant to the store’s customer base.
• Attention to detail and good computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and promote enrollment in the loyalty program.
• Provide high level of personalized customer engagement.
• Serve as a product knowledge resource for customers.
• Achieve sales and productivity goals using available resources.
• Assist in visual directives, housekeeping and product replenishment.
• Occasionally perform cashier duties as needed.
• Assist in loss prevention initiatives.
• Support store maintenance and stock replenishment to keep products ready for customers.
