Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver excellent service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments with integrity and efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining POS standards, meeting personal goals, supporting inventory accuracy, and assisting training for new hires.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments.
• Execute POS standards accurately and efficiently, providing courteous, fast service.
• Meet or exceed personal goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist training of new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, cash handling, restocking).
