Job summary

Michaels in Westlake, OH is hiring a store team member to help customers, operate registers, and keep the store well stocked and welcoming. You will assist shoppers, answer questions, enroll customers in the Rewards program, and support passion for creativity that Michaels promotes.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods. You will perform truck unloading, stocking, merchandising tasks, and participate in store recovery while following SOPs

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• At least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform stocking/merchandising duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollment and Private Label Credit Card offers.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) duties.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery, and support safety programs.
