Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to engage customers, share product knowledge, and guide purchases in a fast-paced store environment.

You will support merchandising, handle cash transactions, and assist with inventory while promoting the Columbia family of brands. A flexible schedule and an inclusive team culture help you grow and contribute to store success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years or less of experience in a related role.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience engaging customers and selling merchandise.
• Experience operating Inventory and POS systems and other retail software tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with personalized conversations to understand needs and preferences.
• Make product recommendations using product knowledge to influence purchases.
• Restock and maintain sales floor standards for clear product presentation.
• Process cash register transactions accurately and engage customers throughout the sale.
• Contribute to store inventory accuracy by receiving and processing shipments.
• Learn store policies and procedures to support day-to-day operations.
