Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Seasonal Retail Associate for our Byron Center, Michigan store. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality customer service, assisting with product recommendations, and supporting sales operations on the shop floor.

The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible retail schedule, and the ability to stand and move throughout shifts. Previous retail experience is welcome but not required; 16+ years old with basic POS knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with customers to understand their needs and suggest options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Process all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) efficiently and accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow.
