Liberty Tax, Inc. is seeking a Tax Compliance Auditor for a seasonal, remote US position. You will work with the Director of Compliance to review individual returns with schedules and credits, helping identify unusual practices and ensure policy compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of IRS rules on credits, and solid Excel/Office proficiency. You will communicate findings to franchisees and management and support ongoing compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IRS regulations related to Earned Income Tax Credit and due diligence.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with computer software and general technology.

Responsibilities

• Review individual tax returns to assess compliance with IRS and Liberty Tax policies.
• Monitor franchise and managed stores for tax compliance and report findings.
• Communicate results to franchisees and store personnel.
• Collaborate with Compliance Director and Process Manager.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and franchisees.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
