WilkinGuttenplan P.C. seeks a Seasonal Part-Time Audit Associate to join our busy season with flexible hours (January–June) and 100% remote work from anywhere in the U.S., with potential for occasional additional hours.

The ideal candidate has an accounting background, is detail-oriented and highly organized, and can balance independent work with teamwork while learning from our skilled Audit team and delivering exceptional client service during peak season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and public accounting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with journal entries, proficiency in navigating general ledgers, and a solid understanding of financial statements is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word (Microsoft 365 suite), adept at navigating and learning new technologies; familiarity with accounting systems (ProSystems, CCH) is a plus.
• Ability to complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and provide other services to clients in the condo/cooperative industry.
• Create workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation for the audit process.
• Prepare financial statements and footnotes.
• Handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Maintain and improve client relationships through exceptional service.
• Excel in a dynamic work environment, serving multiple clients within the NY/NJ condo/cooperative industry.
• Collaborate in a team environment and also work independently.
