Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Louisiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care in a clinical setting. You will apply the nursing process, assess needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires BLS, an RN license, and preferably a BSN with about one year of related nursing experience. You will document history and education, and educate patients and families as part of comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.

• Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
