Job summary

The City of Salida is seeking an Instructor - Recreation for the Seasonal Salida, CO program. You will create and teach recreational classes, develop curricula, and work with staff and volunteers to deliver engaging activities for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience instructing a specified program, class, or activity.
• Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and teach a recreational program, event, or class.
• Develop curriculum and instruction plan to meet objectives.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of part-time and seasonal staff and volunteers.
• Schedule facilities to host programs, leagues, and events and monitor facility condition.
• Manage registration and utilize SmartRec software.
