City of Vista, CA is seeking part-time seasonal scorekeepers to join our Recreation and Community Services team. These roles support adult softball and youth basketball at various parks and events around the city.
Ideal candidates are at least 16, enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and team-oriented with a guest-service mindset. A background check and reliable transportation are required; flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and events is a plus.

Scorekeepers - $16.90
Our Recreation part-time seasonal staff work at various parks and community locations and events in the City of Vista. There are other opportunities as well throughout the year.
We need scorekeepers for adult softball and youth basketball.

While performing the duties of this class, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively verbally and in a written manner; observe and interpret data, and analyze and solve problems. The employee must be able to work either in an indoor office environment or outdoors in the field environment (depending on position); Protective clothing and sunscreen will often be needed for extended periods of outdoor work. The employee may have to move up to 50 lbs. and transport up to 20 lbs. objects frequently (depending on position). Vision abilities required by this job include the ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, estimate, and assess work related objects and/or work products based on position specific designated tasks. Must be able to work a flexible schedule; assignments including early mornings, weekends, holidays, special events and split shifts. Employees must also wear standard work apparel as prescribed by the Parks and Community Services Department.
