Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Radiology Tech for seasonal PRN shifts. You will perform diagnostic imaging under radiologist guidance, maintain radiation safety, and contribute to department performance improvement. This role supports patient care across ages and requires flexibility for weekend shifts and holiday coverage.

Seasonal staff are PRN with no guaranteed hours, and may float to nearby facilities as needed to meet staffing demands during the season.

Qualifications

• Performs superior/quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
• All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.
• Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.
• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).
• Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.
• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD).
• Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
• Current FT / PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2026–27 with the exception of RNs that participate in the Seasonal program in the previous year.
• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
• Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
