Job summary

Iowa Speedway is seeking seasonal event operations staff to support NASCAR race weekends at the Des Moines area track. Responsibilities include staff check-in, credential handling, and coordinating credential buildings with promoters during event days.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate reliability, strong communication, outdoor tolerance for changing weather, and the ability to work weekends. Applicants must be 18+ and have reliable transportation to the track.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills including written reports.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
• Must be available during August 7 - 9 for NASCAR race weekend.

Responsibilities

• Checking in/checking out event staff and ensuring appropriate attire and equipment is issued.
• Preparing credential documents leading into event and execute the disbursement and collection of credentials per company policies on event days.
• Working with promoters to manage the organization / operation of the credential buildings on event weekend.
