Job summary

Hellers Gas Maryland INC is seeking a seasonal Delivery Driver to support propane distribution to customers from December through March/April, weather dependent. This is not a full-time role and work occurs in the field, outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include transferring propane between bulk storage and trucks, performing leak tests, ensuring accurate tank information and completing required documentation while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• Background checks and pre-employment/random drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane to customers and unload to storage tanks.
• Perform leak tests and safety checks.
• Verify tank information and serial numbers during delivery.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicle.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and well‑functioning equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle payments as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and follow company procedures.
• Report issues promptly to supervision.
