Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a seasonal propane delivery driver for a December–March schedule. The role involves outdoor field work, transporting propane to customers, and performing leak tests and safety checks. A valid Class B CDL with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements is required, along with a clean driving record and background check.

Work is outdoors, five days a week with potential overtime on Saturdays. High school diploma or GED is required; relevant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug testing are required.
• Relevant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to truck and to customer tanks.
• Initiate leak tests and perform safety checks as needed.
• Verify tank information and serial numbers on delivery.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Complete required documentation and collect payments as applicable.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and clean, safe equipment.
