Job summary

Townsend Energy in New Hampshire is seeking a Residential Propane Delivery Driver for a seasonal, full-time role from November through April. You will load/unload propane, deliver to residential customers along local routes, and maintain DOT compliance.

We offer day shifts with flexible start times, on-call coverage, occasional Saturdays, and a competitive pay range of $30.00-$35.00 per hour plus bonus opportunities. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and generous time off.

Qualifications

• Propane delivery experience preferred (minimum one year desired).
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving history.
• CDL Class B or higher (Class A preferred).
• Current Tanker, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and other requirements.
• Comfortable using GPS navigation, smartphone apps, and route mapping tools.
• Basic computer and tablet data entry skills.
• Ability to maintain delivery records and required documentation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload propane delivery vehicles
• Deliver propane to customers accurately and efficiently
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Comply with DOT regulations and all company safety policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment
• Maintain professional, respectful communication with customers and team members
