Job summary

NOLS Alaska is seeking a detailed, organized Program Assistant to join the program office during the field season. You will handle logistical and administrative tasks, from pre-briefing packets to course returns, enabling Supervisors to focus on instruction.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work weekends. On-site housing is available for a modest fee as part of the seasonal position from late April through August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, office, logistics, or operations support preferred.
• Familiarity with NOLS or outdoor education is a plus.
• Ability to keep schedules and documents accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Course Preparation: send welcome emails and pre-briefing packets; build course calendars and folders.
• Arrivals/Departures/Returns: verify rosters, handle paperwork, manage course returns and活动 materials.
• Records/Communications/Office Support: file paperwork, send letters, and serve as a first point of contact.
• Support day-to-day office operations during the field season.
