Job summary

Framebridge in Richmond, KY is hiring Seasonal Production Technician roles in a high-volume manufacturing plant. You may assemble frames, quality control or packaging; two-week training to cover roles during an initial training period.

This is a unique seasonal opportunity for both seasoned professionals and those new to the industry. This seasonal position runs through December with a 7am-3:30pm Monday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Comfort reading measurements and using a tape measure.
• Willingness to train in framing and mounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Document customer framing preferences for each order.
• Input measurements accurately and ensure frame/mount compatibility.
• Support mat orders and cross-train in framing and mounting.
• Collaborate with customer experience and leadership to resolve questions.
• Prepare and mount art pieces according to specifications.
• Maintain quality standards and precise measurements.
• Review work orders and execute mounting procedures.
• Use hand tools and computer systems for documentation.
• Ensure delicate components are handled safely and QA checks are completed.
• Perform precision trimming of surrounding materials.
• Apply visual-spatial skills for attractive final presentation.

The Role

We are hiring for Seasonal Production Technician roles at our high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing plant, in Richmond KY. Your responsibilities may include assembling a high volume of custom frames, quality control or packaging items for shipping. Based on your skills and interest, we will train you in one of those roles during a two week training program that will enable you to do your job well. This is a unique opportunity for both seasoned manufacturing professionals and those new to the industry.

As A Seasonal Production Technician You Will:

• Document customer framing preferences that are special to each order including how the customer envisions their final product look
• Responsible for accurately inputting measurements, ensuring compatibility of art and the customers’ selections of frames and mount boards.
• Support mat orders as needed and will be cross trained to support framing and mounting processes
• Work with our customer experience team and leadership team to elevate any questions or concerns regarding customer artwork or orders
• Prepare and mount art pieces according to customer specifications to help make customers’ visions come to life
• Meticulously assemble fine artwork pieces, adhering to stringent quality standards and precise measurements.
• Review work orders, utilize specific mount types, and execute precise mounting procedures
• Use hand tools and computer systems for documentation and application
• Responsible for delicate components and for quality assurance of each art piece
• Precision trimming of surrounding materials to protect customer artwork using appropriate tools and methods.
• Leverage visual-spatial skills for aesthetically pleasing presentation of final products.
• Meet production and quality goals to support Framebridge’s overall business needs

Physical Requirements:

• This role requires the ability to perform the following physical tasks on a regular basis:
• Standing/walking 8 plus hours a day.

Salary Information:

The base range is $16.10/hr, plus potential performance bonuses. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
