Job summary

HCA Healthcare is recruiting Seasonal PRN Registered Nurses for our Kansas City area hospitals. These roles cover Inpatient and ED units with a minimum of one year of direct hospital RN experience. Seasonal staff work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period (0.9 FTE) and will rotate weekends, with one holiday shift during the 16-week period.

Benefits include 401(k) and retirement contributions in PRN policy. Positions are non-benefits eligible and may end at any time.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care; translate medical terminology as needed.
