Job summary

Nike Inc. is seeking a designer to turn inspiration and creative direction into original print and pattern expressions for Nike Sportswear across men’s and women’s apparel and footwear.

The ideal candidate brings a strong eye for color, composition, detail, and craft, with production‑ready capabilities and experience translating artwork to textiles and products. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in print and pattern design, advanced proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, and a portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Art or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in print and pattern design, preferably within apparel or footwear.
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, with strong drawing and digital artwork skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating original print and pattern design, color theory, repeats, textile processes, and translation onto products.
• Excellent organization, time management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Research art, culture, street style, sport, and print trends to develop explorations aligned with seasonal narratives.
• Create original artwork using hand-rendered and digital techniques across apparel and footwear.
• Translate print and pattern concepts onto three‑dimensional products and the body.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork with accurate repeats and schematics.
• Apply knowledge of print techniques and production feasibility to solve design and manufacturing challenges.
