Job summary

The Town of Bedford Public Works Department is seeking seasonal On-Call Plow Drivers and Winter Maintenance staff in Bedford, NH. Positions run November through April, with shifts during winter weather events and a potential CDL path.

Wage is up to $35 per hour based on experience, plus a $500 end-of-season bonus for perfect attendance. CDL qualified or non-CDL applicants welcome, with licensing requirements noted above.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Non-CDL holders must have a valid NH Operators License.
• CDL holders must possess a valid NH Class B CDL with medical card.

Responsibilities

• Plowing and removing snow/ice from streets and sidewalks, sanding and salting.
• Operate snowplows, wing, and sanders as instructed.
• Available for all winter weather events, including long/extended hours.
• May perform other related duties as needed.
