Job summary

Chicago Children's Museum is seeking a Seasonal Play & Learning Facilitator to staff exhibits and programs, primarily for families with young children. The role emphasizes inclusive, engaging play and education, safety, and strong guest relations on-site at Navy Pier.

You will support training, DEAI initiatives, and collaborate with staff during peak seasons. The position is part-time and non-exempt with a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with a child/family audience in a customer service environment or similar.
• Willingness to learn and be trained through institution-offered courses and to support DEAI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily staffing of museum exhibits, programs and events with exceptional customer service.
• Model engaging play and learning facilitation for children and caregivers.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment and manage exhibit flow and safety protocols.
• Support DEAI initiatives and participate in staff meetings and special events.
