Job summary

The Cottage Gardens Inc. is seeking a seasonal merchandiser to act as a field representative and set up attractive plant displays at customer locations. You will collaborate with store staff, manage displays, and support promotions across multiple locations, including travel between stores as needed.

The role requires physical work, a flexible schedule, and the ability to lift and move heavy displays in various weather conditions; prior merchandising experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Seasonal position creating and maintaining plant displays at customer locations.
• Ability to communicate with store associates, regional managers, and staff.
• Physically able to lift 40 lbs and perform heavy pushing/pulling of racks.
• Willingness to travel between stores and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Unload and maintain products from The Cottage Gardens and other vendors.
• Build garden center benches and parking lot corrals.
• Create and replenish sign displays with approved signing.
• Execute promotions and special event pricing; assist with special projects.
• Maintain plan-o-gram integrity and routine plant care.
