Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal PIT Operator for the Back Half 2nd shift in California. The role focuses on operating order pickers and PIT equipment to support efficient warehouse operations.

Typical duties include pallet movement, trailer loading/unloading, and adhering to safety and quality standards. This position is seasonal with potential for overtime and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with order picker and cherry picker equipment.
• Current or previous PIT certification.
• Seasonal role with no guarantee of converting to a permanent opportunity.
• Able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, equipment and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
