INTER-STATE STUDIO & PUBLISHING CO is seeking a Seasonal School Portrait and Sports Photographer in Cape Girardeau, MO. This position requires early morning availability and includes traveling to schools to capture student and staff portraits. Training and equipment are provided, and no prior experience is required.

Job description

Job Location: Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. Position Type: Seasonal. Education Level: High School. Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00 hourly. Travel Percentage: Territory – Daily Travel. Job Shift: 1st Shift. Job Category: Other. Seasonal School Portrait and Sports Photographer – equipment and training provided; no experience needed.

What you’ll do

• Travel to schools and photograph students and staff (early mornings, days vary).
• Set up, maintain, and organize photography equipment.
• Pose students according to our guidelines (we’ll teach you everything!).
• Ensure high-quality, sellable images are captured.
• Uphold excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Complete post‑shoot paperwork and auditing.
• Operate company software (training provided).

Qualifications

Essentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation (must be able to fit photography equipment – small sedans are fine).
• Ability to lift up to 50lb and stand for extended periods.
• Post‑offer background check includes a Motor Vehicle Report.
