Job summary

JCPenney Portrait Team in Lafayette, LA is hiring immediately for Seasonal Part-Time Team Members. Earn $15.00 per hour and receive photography and sales training to help you succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll engage with customers, schedule sessions, and deliver a friendly, helpful experience from first contact through the photo session. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior retail, sales, service, or photography experience is preferred.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed customers’ expectations
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
• Provide a wonderful customer experience from start to finish
