Daily Thread in Minot, ND is seeking a Sales Associate who connects with customers, guides them to personalized looks, and supports the sales floor with stocking and cleaning to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

You will greet customers, answer questions, process POS transactions, cross-sell products, and teamwork with colleagues to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. A friendly, energetic personality and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases

• Stock and process shipment as needed

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds when merchandising the sales floor. Comfortable with using ladders or stairs
