Job summary

Seabreeze Management Company, Inc. is seeking an Outside Services Attendant to support golf operations at Desert Princess. You will greet guests, assist with golf cart fleets, and help maintain course facilities while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather. A high school diploma is required, with weekend and holiday availability expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or golf course environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide carts in excellent working condition to guests.
• Ensure carts are washed, stored and charged properly.
• Comply with safety procedures and operate golf carts safely.
• Inspect carts and equipment and report damage promptly.
• Coordinate with Golf Pro Assistant to maintain cart availability.
• Assist guests with golf bags and bag drop area.
• Maintain the golf course grounds and Pro Shop area.
• Explain golf products/services to guests and assist with tournaments.
• Participate in orientation and safety trainings.
• Report guest complaints promptly.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Outside Services Attendant ensures outside components of golf operations is facilitated. This specifically relates to golf cart fleet management, driving range, and putting green management along with consistent facility/grounds cleanliness and upkeep

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course.
• Provides carts that are in excellent working condition to guests by directing them to the daily staging area and returning them to the cart barn free of debris and items.
• Ensure carts are properly washed, stored and plugged in to charger.
• Comply with safety procedures and policies while performing job duties, including safely operating golf carts.
• Inspect carts and equipment to detect wear and damage to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; communicate damage and concerns to Golf Pro on duty in a timely matter.
• Coordinates with Pro Shop Attendant to maintain a consistent level of cart availability and to ensure guests are following the rules.
• Assist guests with golf bags, loading and unloading onto carts, and maintains bag drop off area.
• Maintains grounds of players’ entrance, staging area, driving rage, tee green, Pro Shop.
• Maintains all Cart Barn work, storage, and service areas.
• Assist guests with golf rental equipment, including rental agreement and inventory of each rental set before and after a guest’s round of golf.
• Maintains good personal hygiene; reports to work wearing a clean, neat uniform that follows uniform standards.
• Ability to explain golf products and services and other information about Desert Princess to all guests.
• Work with Assistant Golf Professional in setup and execution of tournaments and outings.
• Participates in required employee orientation and safety trainings.
• Report guest complaints promptly to Golf Pro Assistant.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or golf course environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability: Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Language Skills

The individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization.
