Job summary

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) Professional Assembly is seeking part-time Bicycle Assembly Technicians to work on-site at local retailers in Hilo, HI. You will assemble bicycles, toys, barbecues, and furniture, following retailer guidelines and product instructions.

After training, pay transitions to a per-piece rate, with typical earnings ranging from $17 to $25 per hour, and higher for productive technicians. Prior experience helpful, training provided for needed skills.

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Own basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver.
• Smartphone and e-mail address required.
• Internet access via smartphone or mobile device.
• Ability to pass a background test.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair products following manufacturer instructions and retailer rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm build lists and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate with Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave a neat build area.
• Other responsibilities per employee handbook.
