Job summary

Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough, CA seeks a Seasonal part-time Head/Assistant Coach to oversee athletic training, strength and conditioning, and provide technical support to student-athletes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of relevant coaching experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and a commitment to inclusive, values-driven athletics; travel is light within the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum three years related experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (American Red Cross/American Heart Association).
• Experience in the sport for which you are hired.
• General knowledge of best practices in interscholastic athletics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee athletic training and coaching for assigned sports.
• Lead strength and conditioning workouts and training programs.
• Provide technical support and training to athletes.
• Ensure a safe environment for student-athletes by checking equipment.
• Attend mandatory coaches’ meetings and interpret rules.
• Promote Crystal’s core values and inclusive team culture.
