The City of Wilsonville is hiring for park and facilities maintenance roles. These positions involve landscape and turf maintenance, shrub/tree care, irrigation work, and building upkeep. You will interact with the public, support park programs, and help ensure safe, clean facilities.

Shifts are 40 hours per week and may include weekends. The assignments range from three to nine months and can exceed 1,600 hours. A background check and safe driving record are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; no experience required but preferred.
• Valid driver license required; ability to obtain Flagging certificate.
• Desirable licenses: Public Pesticide Applicators License and Commercial Drivers License.

Responsabilidades

• Landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, soil preparation and planting, fertilization, and weed/pest control.
• Shrub and tree maintenance such as pruning and fertilizer applications.
• Irrigation maintenance and repair including installation.
• Building maintenance including plumbing, painting, janitorial duties, woodworking, and related tasks.
• Equipment maintenance like safety inspections and mower blade checks.
• Interact with the public to answer questions about parks, facilities, and schedules.
