Job summary

Michaels in NYC’s Manhattan/Chelsea store is hiring for an overnight Team Member responsible for unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store recovery to meet our Brand Promises. You will help customers locate products, ring up sales, and enroll shoppers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights/weekends. You’ll participate in BOPIS and Ship From Store, follow SOPs, support shrink and safety programs,

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to work overnight shift 9:00pm–7:00am.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Enrol customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planograms.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock levels.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; act as a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Job description

Store - NYC-MANHATTAN/CHELSEA, NYOvernight shift between the hours 9:00pm-7:00am. Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store including maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production

Total Base Pay Range for this Position:

$17.50 - $20.60This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
