Medical City Frisco, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking an RN OR Seasonal PRN to join the operating room team. The role offers $70 per hour plus differentials with a structured seasonal program from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027, featuring predictable four-week scheduling and weekend commitments.

You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, educate families, prepare patients, and ensure safety through universal protocols, with opportunities to float to nearby facilities as

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• RN (Registered Nurse) license
• Associate degree required

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process
• Prepare patient for surgery including IV therapy and preoperative medications
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols
• Monitor patient condition and document changes during shift
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up measures
