Job summary

Fanatics Commerce is seeking a Seasonal Operations Training Coordinator on the night shift, starting with day shift training. The role focuses on onboarding, Ambassador and Team Lead skill development, and updating training materials on the warehouse floor.

You will work closely with Operations Leadership and Senior Training partners to ensure training programs are executed consistently, meeting SOPs and performance metrics.

Qualifications

*This position will triain on day shift and then transition down to night shift (Sun-Thur) in October.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Training Coordinator supports operational excellence by delivering high‑quality training experience for new hires and frontline employees. This role focuses on onboarding execution, Ambassador and Team Lead skill development, training material updates, and reinforcing standard work and quality expectations on the warehouse floor.

The Operations Training Coordinator works closely with Operations Leadership and Senior Training partners to ensure training programs are executed consistently, accurately, and in alignment with current SOPs and performance metrics. This role is primarily hands‑on and floor‑based and plays a key role in the day‑to‑day learning experience of hourly employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New Hire Onboarding & Training Execution
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation (NHO) and operational onboarding activities.
  • Provide hands‑on, floor‑based training for new hires using approved SOPs and PMVs.
  • Ensure new hires understand safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
  • Support a positive and engaging onboarding experience that sets employees up for success.
• Ambassador & Team Lead Training Support
  • Assist with training and upskilling Training Ambassadors and Team Leads.
  • Reinforce standard training methods and coaching techniques.
  • Observe training delivery and provide feedback to Senior Training or Operations Leadership.
  • Support Train the Trainer sessions as directed.
• Standard Work, SOPs & PMVs
  • Support updates to SOPs, PMVs, and training materials to reflect current processes.
  • Assist with task analysis and validation of standard work for training purposes.
  • Ensure training materials are accurate, current, and aligned with operational execution.
  • Communicate updates and changes clearly to trainees and Ambassadors.
• Quality & Training Effectiveness
  • Partner with Operations and Quality teams to reinforce quality standards during training.
  • Observe employees post training and escalated gaps or retraining needs.
  • Support tracking of training completion and skill proficiency in the LMS or local tools.
  • Collect feedback from new hires and trainers to support continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Operations Leaders, Senior Training Associates, and HR partners during onboarding peaks.
  • Communicate clearly with hourly employees across multiple shifts.
  • Serve as a training resource and point of contact on the floor.
  • Perform additional training related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QALIFICATIONS:

• Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience
  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience training, coaching, or onboarding employees preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOPs, PMVs, or standard work documentation a plus.
• Skills & Abilities

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Warehouse environment; majority of time spent on the floor.
• Must be able to stand for 6-10 hours per shift.
• May be required to walk 3-5+ miles per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible scheduling required, including peak, overtime, and occasional shift changes.
