Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support our operations team during peak season. You will help ensure excellent client service by efficiently unloading, sorting, and preparing merchandise for the floor and shipping.

You will also manage daily inventory and price changes under supervision. The role requires at least 1 year in operations or warehouse work, comfort with retail tech, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role.
• Familiar with retail and mobile technologies.
• Requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound merchandise for shipping to clients, stores or distribution.
• Complete daily inventory control operations.

YOU WILL BE:

As a Seasonal Operations Associate, you will work to enhance our client experience with our operations team during our most magical time of year. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the team Makes Life Extraordinary by leading with a people first mentality and ensuring exceptional execution of assignments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare the merchandise for the selling floor
• Prepare outbound merchandise to be shipped to a client, another store or the distribution center
• Complete daily inventory control operations
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the receiving dock and in all other work areas

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role(s)
• Familiar with and able to use retail and mobile technologies
• Requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include nights, weekends and holidays

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

The hourly rate for this position is between $16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
