Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support our luxury retail operations during peak season. You will work with the operations team to prepare merchandise for the selling floor, manage inventory, and execute daily tasks to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will report to an Operations Manager, be able to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role(s).
• Familiar with and able to use retail and mobile technologies.
• Requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare the merchandise for the selling floor
• Prepare outbound merchandise to be shipped to a client, another store or the distribution center
• Complete daily inventory control operations
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the receiving dock and in all other work areas

Salary And Other Benefits:

The starting salary for this position is between $16.00 - $18.00 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
