Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support our luxury retail operations during peak season. You will collaborate with the operations team under the supervision of an Operations Manager to ensure a seamless and magical guest experience through efficient handling of merchandise and accurate inventory processes.

Key responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing items for sale, while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in operations or warehouse roles.
• Familiar with retail and mobile technologies.
• Able to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare for selling floor.
• Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to client, store or distribution center.
• Complete daily inventory control operations.
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures on receiving dock and work areas.

You Will Be

As a Seasonal Operations Associate, you will work to enhance our client experience with our operations team during our most magical time of year. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the team Makes Life Extraordinary by leading with a people first mentality and ensuring exceptional execution of assignments.

What You Will Do

• Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare the merchandise for the selling floor
• Prepare outbound merchandise to be shipped to a client, another store or the distribution center
• Complete daily inventory control operations
• Execute merchandise price changes as needed
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the receiving dock and in all other work areas

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role(s)
• Familiar with and able to use retail and mobile technologies
• Requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include nights, weekends and holidays

Salary And Other Benefits

The starting salary for this position is between $16.00 - $18.00 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Salary Range $17.05 - $21.32*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
